Wooden trunk
9" wide X 5 1/2" deep x 5" high
18 note key-wind musical movement
Turntable, 1"
Key extende, 1/2"
4 wooden bells, 1"
Sandpaper
Wood Sealer

Decorative Accessories for Music Box:

Assortment of Lego buiding blocks
Yellow Lego building board, 5" x 5 1/2"
Border stencil, 1 1/2"-wide design
Acrylic Paint Colors:

To match Lego building blocks

Blue
Green
Red
Yellow

Adhesives and Spray Sealer:

Industrial strength glue
Stencil, Adhesive, or tape
Gloss spray sealer

Tools and Brushes:

Drill with 1/4" drill bit

Step by Step Assembly Instructions

Step One:

Using sandpaper, sand the wooden trunk of the music box as well as the lid. Next, use an old paintbrush to apply wood sealer to the trunk and lid following the manufacturer's directions. Allow to dry throughly.

Step Two:

Using a paintbrush, paint the sides of the trunk with yellow acrylic paint. Next, paint the lid and bottom of base with blue and bells with red.

Step Three:

Using stencil, adhesive, or tape, center the border stencil between top and bottom of one side of the trunk. Using a stenciling sponge brush, sponge the stencil with green, red, and blue acrylic paint. Dip a small edge of the sponge brush in green acrylic paint, stenciling one side at a time. Blot on paper towels. Then, lighlty sponge one area at a time that is to be green, being careful not to get paint on unwanted areas. Allow to dry throughly.

You will next carefully sponge over the green areas again with enough coats to cover them completely-do not apply the paint too heavily or it will run under the stencil. Do not remove the stencil. Repeat the process with red and then blue. When dry, remove the stencil, and sponge the three remaining sides in the same way. Allow to dry throughly. Spray trunk, lid, and bells with gloss sealer.

Step Four:

Drill a 1/4" hole in the center front of trunk.

Step Five:

Using industrial strength glue, glue a few Lego blocks together for a winding knob. Glue turntable to back center for Lego winding knob.

Step Six:

Glue musical movement inside trunk, making sure the winding-key shaft is centered in hole. Remove the lid. Glue 5" x 5 1/2" yellow Lego building board to top of the lid, making sure it is centered. Turn the trunk upside down, and glue one bell to bottom of the box at corners for legs. Allow to dry.

Step Seven:

Wind the turntable onto key extender. Wind the key-extender onto the winding key-shaft. The turntable is the winding key. Using the remaining Lego building blocks, create anything you desire. Then, you can take the creation apart and build something new as well!

I am sure that Mr. Shakespeare, as a struggling young playwright and actor in London, knew well the value of network marketing. In fact, probably most of his parts and opportunities came from his connections with those who could get him a part, back his play, and so on. I am sure he had a strong concept of networking.

It is also equally probable, particularly in light of the quote at the start of this article, that he understood what could happen to his networking efforts if he was found to be unable to backup claims about his product or service.

In the usual marketing scheme of things, advertisers buy the opportunity to place their offerings in front of large quantities of potential customers. In network marketing, the entrepreneur is often limited in budget and tends to contact potential customers or business partners one or two at a time. At best, he or she may put on a presentation for a small group. For most of us however, our broadest and most effective form of advertising comes from satisfied customers or business partners.

When a network marketing company or one of its representatives fails to live up to expectations, three things may happen:

1. The injured party becomes suspicious and distrustful of the representative at least, and perhaps may extend these feelings to the company as well.

2. The injured party becomes distrustful and suspicious of network marketing in general.

3. The injured party becomes a fine network marketer, spreading the word about the evil that was done him or her by this "network marketing" rip-off.

All network marketers depend on good words spoken of them by their customers and business partners. By acting greedily or by ignoring the needs and expectations of customers and business partners, not only are they diminishing their ability to function efficiently, but they are also recruiting new members for a very vocal group who view network marketing and multi-level marketing in a very negative light.

This was brought home to me recently when I attempted to purchase several hundred dollars worth of advertising on a site which reached a group of people who would have been excellent prospects for one of my products.

Let me make the point that this product is perfectly legitimate and can save users hundreds of dollars. The company has been in business for years, and has a very high internal code of ethics. It does, however, make all sales through network marketing using a multi-level marketing model.

The owner of the website refused to accept the advertising simply based on his argument that as it is a network marketing and multi-level marketing company, running ads for the company would tarnish the image his website has for integrity. He was willing to grant that the product seemed to be good and he could find no fault with it. However, because of what he felt would be a negative reaction to his being associated with this type of marketing; he refused to accept the advertising order.

We in network marketing know that much of this negative reaction comes from so-called MLM schemes such as the "Lawyer Brown" letter, or the "$90,000 in 90 Days" scam, as well as a multitude of questionable products and services that have been sold through "network marketing" or "multi-level marketing" business opportunity models.

It is generally stated by those who study customer dissatisfaction that a satisfied customer will tell from 3 to 5 others about his or her positive experience. That is good. That is what we are hoping for in network marketing. That is how we get the most "bang for our buck" whether we have paid out cold hard cash or invested in "sweat equity". However, the same studies indicate that a dissatisfied customer may also tell 4 or more other people about their NEGATIVE experience. What makes this particularly interesting is that according to the Customer Dissatisfaction Study released by the Verde Group and Baker Retailing Initiative at Wharton:

* "...Shoppers experiencing problems are five times more likely to tell a friend about it than contact the company", and...

* "...For every 100 American shoppers, 64 people will be told about a store's poor products or services and no matter what that store does to entice shoppers - sales, promotions, advertising, marketing - those people will not set foot in their store,"

* "...More than 50 per cent of Americans report that a negative shopping experience of a friend or colleague will prevent them from setting foot in a store altogether."

As you can imagine, as those people tell other people, those people will pass on what they have heard about you, your company, and network marketing in general. Ironically, that is also network marketing. You have some control over whether it is good or bad by how you select the companies you associate yourself with and how you treat your customers and business partners.

The subject of an email is what is often referred to when a person or a recipient of an email decides whether he or she wants to open or read an e-mail. The subject could easily be regarded as one of the most important aspect of your promotional e-mail.

Your subject must be short and concise. They should provide a summary for the content of the e-mail so that the recipient will have basic knowledge of the content. This is really vital in grabbing the attention of your readers and subscribers. You want your subject to instantly grab the attention of your subscriber and get them to be intrigued to open up your mail. Remember, it is not necessarily true that a subscriber opens up subscribed mails.

A good subject must always be tickling the curiosity of your recipient. It must literally force the recipient to open the mail. A certain emotion must be ignited and get them to open the mail. It is essential to use specific words to get the reaction you need. Keep in mind that the recipient or subscribers spends only a few seconds looking over each subject of the e-mails he receives. You must grab your readers attention right away.

There are many forms you can use for your subject. You can provide a subject that says your e-mail contains content that teaches them tips and methods on certain topics. An example of this is using keywords and keyword phrases such as, How to , tips, Guides to, Methods in and others like that.

You can also put your subject in a question form. These may include questions like, Are you sick and tired of your job? Or Is your boss always on your case? Try to stay on the topic that pertains to your site so that youll know that your subscribers have signed up because they are interested in that topic. This form of subject is very effective because they reach out to your recipients emotions. When they have read the question on your subject, their mind starts answering the question already.

You can also use a subject that commands your reader. Statements such as Act now and get this once in a lifetime opportunity, or Double, triple and even quadruple what you are earning in one year. This type of subject deals with the benefits your company provides with your product and services.

You may also use breaking news as your subject to intrigue your subscriber. For example, if you deal with car engine parts you can write in your subject, Announcing the new engine that uses no gasoline, It runs on water. This creates curiosity with the reader and will lead them to open the mail and read on.

I swear, my former housemate was the biggest dummy on the planet. His name was Amos, and he was the epitome of the word slacker. Most of the time, he would sit around and do nothing but smoke pot, while incessantly blasting reggae music is loud as the stereo could play it. I swear, one time we had to turn off the power to his room on the surge suppressor just to get some sleep, and boy, the dummy never even got wise that was us that killed the power. He made his living selling drugs, and incense down on Teleride avenue in Colorado Springs, where all of the hippies, street punks, and freaks come together and do, more or less, not a damn thing.

One of the stupider (although by no means, stupidest) things that I saw him do was to buy a earn money online kit off of the internet. This was one of those deals were promised him that he could earn money online by setting up his own business with things he already had. This was a look to draw people in because they didn't have to expend a lot of money to do it. It advertised it as if all that he would have to do was to sit back and watch the cash roll in. Of course, the this was old fiction and he got burned.

I mean, how could you earn money online selling crappy hand dipped incense? Who in their right mind could think that? He must have actually thought that there was a market for because in his own little world he thought it was cool. Like there weren't already a million other people trying to earn money online selling the same substandard products. Could you imagine trying to sell incense and a brick and mortar business where they can't even smelled the product, to say nothing of making money online with it.

It isn't even like he had a nice, or interesting web page. He just bought a stock web design out of a box, slapped it up on the Internet and thought that that was all it would take to earn money online.

To earn money online is much more complex than most people think and we try to explain that to him, but he'd just give us that blank, irritated look that was permanently affixed to his face. He was pretty much clueless about how the marketplace ran and he surely did not want to hear about how there were already enough people trying to earn money online, and failing at it, selling the same kinds of crappy things that he was. After a while we just gave up and let him do whatever he wanted because sometimes you get tired of banging your head against a brick wall, and he was our brick wall. People definitely to earn money online, but you have to have a clue first.
